Xavier BEULIN, Chairman of Sofiprotéol

Xavier Beulin, Chairman of Sofiprotéol, has been a farmer in the Loiret region of France since 1976. He owns a 170-hectare farm of staple crops, grains, oilseeds and protein crops.

Above all, Xavier Beulin is a man of commitment. His conviction: the need to put the economy to work for humanity. This belief led to his involvement in a number of agricultural organizations, first regionally, then nationally in France and later, internationally.

In 1990, he became Vice President of the Loiret Federation of Farm Unions. In the years that followed, he served as Chairman of the Loiret Chamber of Agriculture, and, in 2001, became Chairman of the Economic and Labor Council for central France.

Since 2000, he has served as Chairman of Sofiprotéol. He is President of the French Federation of Farm Unions (FNSEA) since december 2010 and Chairman of the Coordination Committee for Specialized Organizations.

Internationally, Xavier Beulin is Chairman of the European Oilseed Alliance and a member of the Council for European and International Food and Agriculture Forecasting.
