Florence Doat-Matrot, Communications Director

Florence Doat-Matrot has managed Sofiprotéol and PROLEA communications since 2000.

Her educational background specializes in both the agri-food industry and corporate communications and includes a Bachelor’s in vegetal physiology, an engineering degree in agriculture from the Institut Supérieur d’Agriculture de Lille and a DEA in Information Sciences from La Sorbonne - Sciences Po.

From 1983 to 2000, Florence Doat-Matrot developed her career within the Marketing Division of the ICI SOPRA Group, now ZENECA SOPRA. Specifically, she directed publicity and public relations in the phytosanitary product market for this leading group between 1993 and 2000.

Florence Doat-Matrot joined the French oilseed and protein crop network (PROLEA) in 2000. Leading a team of 10, she supervises PROLEA and the Sofiprotéol Group’s communications intended for professionals and the general public.

Florence Doat-Matrot is also involved in several professional organizations, such as SYRPA (French union of agricultural communications and press professionals) in which she was chairperson from 1996 to 2000. She is also a member of The French Society of Agriculture.
