The Sofiprotéol Group has committed to :

1.    ensure the development and long-term viability of the vegetable oil and protein industry in a responsible, sustainable way.

2.    promote, through innovation, environmental, economic, and social solutions that meet the needs of future generations, particularly in the areas of nutrition, renewable energy, and renewable chemistry.

3.    choose the most ethically, economically, and environmentally acceptable solutions when it comes to investments and acquisitions, particularly for the creation of lasting value and employment across France.

4.    help conserve non-renewable resources, biodiversity, and the environment; combat climate change; and contribute to the development of renewable resources.

5.    educate, train, and involve its employees in sustainable development issues.

6.    encourage collaboration between employees and local stakeholders at each industrial site, particularly when it comes to local economic development and land planning.

7.    encourage all industry players—especially farmers and collection organizations, but also partners, subcontractors, and suppliers—to respect the Group’s values and support its commitments concerning sustainable development.

8.    encourage customers and consumers to adopt the Group’s values in order to raise their awareness of environmental challenges and the behavioral changes required.

9.    inform stakeholders, ensure transparent communications, try to anticipate risks, and define rules for vigilance and good conduct.
