Sofiprotéol supports the medium and long-term development of agri-food companies linked to the oilseed and protein crop industry. In 2009, its activities in this area totaled 1.5 billion euros.

Sofiprotéol is primarily involved in purchasing company shares and granting loans. These measures contribute to the development of agri-food companies and help to consolidate crop production. In addition, they facilitate innovation and encourage the search for new oilseed and protein crop markets.
